I want to refinance my mortgage and I want to start a home business before doing so. It would have no employees and I would still keep my current job. My home business will not require any due balances or credit lines to increase my debt. Would mortgage companies see the worry that I would quit my regular job or would they trust that I would maturely handle the mortgage payments? In other words, would I have no problems getting refinanced under these conditions. My credit score is about 650 and I’ve been at my current job for 1 1/2 years but have had steady employment for a long time. I have also paid my mortgage on time for 12 months.
The reason I am asking is because what I will be doing requires a vendor license. Therefore, in my ssn, it would show the business based at my home address.
I am actually looking for a new mortgage loan, not a home equity loan or personal loan and I don’t need to borrow to pay debts.

i do not see any problem with you getting the refinance and i would not worry about the business end affected it!!!

Hi,

Does anyone out there have any information on the author Helga Moray (aka Helen Moreau). I read a book written by her in the early 70’s called I, Roxana (written in 1965) and it has taken me over 30 years to identify her as the author and I have finally managed to track down a copy which I am eagerly waiting for (although the copy I have found is a USA market version a compliation of three books I, Roxana, Roxana & Alexander and A Son for Roxana all in one).

However I would like to know a bit more about the author and have searched google and other search engines but there is nothing I can find out. Any response appreciated with any ideas you may have on where I should be looking. I would also be interested to know if anyone else has read any of her work – apparently she wrote 43 books between the 1950’s and 1976!

If you want some work at home info I think it takes alot of research and a real good place to start would be wahm.com and check out their message board (forum) because pretty much everyone here is working at home and have been doing pretty good at it. There’s alot of info like job postings, business ideas, classifieds. There are alot of websites like this but I believe this one is real popular. Internetbasedmoms.com is another site but it’s only forums unlike wahm.com (wahm= work at home mom) so you can ask questions there or another place is http://www.indeed.com/forum/job so these are just a few out of a million to help you find what you are looking for. If you find some companies you want to check out you can check with BBB or google the name with the word scam behind it, people do complain about legit companies but if there’s page after page about the company you can assume it’s a scam and also ask in the forums I provided you with because the people there have already done what you are trying to figure out so someone should know about alot of the businesses you come across.
